Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has issued a notification for the posts of Female Supervisor of Women and Child Development Department. WCD Karnataka Recruitment 2026 has a total of 171 posts, women only.

Last date to apply is 28 November 2026. One important point: Any degree is not enough, subject specific degree is mandatory.

WCD Karnataka Recruitment 2026 Overview

Details of Posts – RPC and Kalyan Karnataka

KEA has issued two separate notifications. Same for both Eligibility and Test Procedure.

Out of 30 posts of KK 28 are direct recruitment and 2 are reserved for women employees within the department. The RPC notification mentions 7 in-service posts, check the notification PDF to see if these are included in the 141 posts. Category wise allocation is tentative and subject to change.

Key Information: Check your degree content before applying. No amendment is allowed once submitted.

Educational Qualification and Conditions

Degree required

Must be one of the following:

• Degree in Home Science
• Degree in Social Work
• Degree in Sociology
• B.Sc (Home Science / Community Science)

The degree result must have arrived on the last date of application. Those who are waiting for result cannot apply.

Other conditions

• Should be an Indian citizen and should be female.
• A woman married to a man with a living wife needs the prior permission of the government.
• Permanently debarred from UPSC, KPSC or KEA are not eligible.

Age Limit and Age Relaxation

Minimum age is 18 years. Maximum Age Limit as applicable to Application Last Date:

Apart from this, there is a relaxation of 10 years for disabled, widows and indentured labourers. 3 years plus seniority for ex-servicemen. 10 years of service or 10 years whichever is less for State Government employees. For those belonging to more than one category, check the calculation in PDF.

Salary Details

Pay Scale ₹44,425 to ₹83,700. Direct recruits will have 2 years probation and National Pension Scheme (NPS) will be applicable.

Application fee

Fees should be paid online only. Fee once paid is non-refundable.

Selection process

Selection will be done in three stages as per available information. No mention of interview.

• Paper-1: General Knowledge (100 Questions, 100 Marks, 2 Hours)
• Paper-2: Specific Subject Paper (100 Questions, 100 Marks, 2 Hours). Its syllabus is published separately by KEA.
• Document Verification: With original documents

A minimum of 35% marks is required to qualify in the written test. Deduction of 0.25 marks for wrong answer. Shade 5th option for unanswered question in OMR exam, otherwise 0.25 marks will be deducted. The test can be online (CBT) or in OMR format.

Kannada Language Test

It is Compulsory Qualifying Test: 150 Marks, SSLC First Language Level, Minimum 50 Marks Required. These marks do not count towards merit. Exemption is for those who have studied Kannada as first or second language in SSLC or above examination.

WCD Karnataka Recruitment 2026 Apply Online – How to Apply

1. Visit the KEA website, open the Women Supervisor Recruitment link. If eligible for both RPC and KK note which notification you are applying for.
2. Fill the personal and educational details.
3. Certificate if reservation is sought RD NoEnter correctly.
4. Upload a photograph (JPEG, white background, 50–200 KB) and signature (JPEG, black ink, 50–70 KB).
5. Pay the fee online.
6. Check the details again, submit and retain a copy of the application.

Documents to be prepared: Aadhaar, all semester mark sheet of degree, SSLC mark sheet, applicable caste/reservation certificates (with RD number). Certificates obtained after the last date will not be considered. No change of examination center is allowed.
