Bank of Baroda (BOB), a leading public sector bank, has issued a notification to fill up 837 vacancies in its Wealth Management Services (WMS) division. Applications are invited for five posts under BOB Recruitment 2026 on contract basis and last date is 24th November 2026. It is not for fresh graduates. This opportunity is only for candidates with minimum three years of experience in wealth management or investment advisory field.

BOB Recruitment 2026 Important Details

Details of posts and number of vacancies

Category wise distribution: SC 124, ST 61, OBC 224, EWS 82, General (UR) 346. Out of these 35 posts are reserved for the differently abled (PwBD). These numbers are provisional, may change as per bank requirement.

Qualification and experience details

A recognized degree in any subject is mandatory for all posts. But certification and experience requirement varies from post to post.

MBA/Master’s Diploma, CFP or CFA preferred, but not mandatory. Experience should be in public/private/foreign bank, broking firm, asset management company or financial services sector. Clerical post, teaching and training experience will not be considered. Experience less than six months will not be considered.

Age Limit and Age Relaxation

Age will be calculated on the basis of 01-11-2026.

Maximum Age Relaxation: SC/ST 5 years, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) 3 years. General/EWS 10, OBC 13, SC/ST 15 yrs for Specially Minded. General/EWS 5, OBC 8, SC/ST 10 years for retired soldiers. This relaxation is applicable only for posts with reservation roster.

Salary Details

There is no fixed pay scale in the notification. Remuneration is determined based on candidate’s qualification, experience, overall suitability, current (last) salary and market level of the post. So it is not right to announce any specific amount.

Note about Contract: This is not a permanent post. Initial period is 5 years. If the performance is satisfactory it can be extended again by a maximum of 5 years at the discretion of the bank. The service ends automatically on expiry of the contract, and is valid only up to the age of 60 years.

Application fee

This fee is non-refundable. Whether the exam is held or not, shortlisted or not, the payment has to be made.

Selection process

According to the notification the selection process may consist of Application Scrutiny, Online Test, Psychometric Test or other tests as deemed appropriate by the Bank, followed by Interview. Nowhere does it say that online test is mandatory; That is the bank’s decision. Minimum qualifying marks in interview is 60% for General and EWS category, 55% for other reserved categories. Just fulfilling the minimum qualification does not guarantee a call for an interview.

BOB Recruitment 2026 Apply Online – How to Apply

1. Go to Careers → Current Opportunities on the official website of Bank of Baroda.
2. Select Advertisement No. BOB/HRM/REC/ADVT/2026/20, read notification in full.
3. Register. It requires an active personal email and mobile number. The call letter will come to this email.
4. Apply for one post only. If multiple applications are submitted, only the last complete application will be considered, remaining fees will not be refunded.
5. Fill details, upload photo (20–50 KB), signature (10–20 KB) and PDF documents (each file within 500 KB). Resume, proof of date of birth, qualification, certificate and experience letters are required.
6. Pay the fee through online. Application without payment of fee is invalid.
7. Check the details before pressing submit; Then change is not possible. Retain the application number and copy.
