Candidates must fulfil both educational qualification and national-level examination requirements.
Only candidates who have already completed their qualifying degree are eligible.

Educational Qualification
For most JRF positions:

- M.E / M.Tech / M.Sc (Engineering) or equivalent
- First Class qualification

For JRF-E13 Mathematics/Physics:

ISRO URSC JRF Fellowship Salary 2026
Selected candidates will receive a research fellowship.
