Exam Day Guidelines & Required Documents

Understanding the Difference: Admit Card vs. Exam City Slip

The Exam City Intimation Slip issued on August 18, 2026, was solely intended to help candidates arrange travel by disclosing the exam city. It cannot be used as an entry pass. The actual Admit Card, released on September 1, 2026, is the mandatory entry document. It displays critical details such as the precise venue address, reporting schedules, gate closing times, and essential exam instructions.

Mandatory Documents to Carry

Candidates must bring the following documents to the designated examination venue:

  • A clear physical printout of the NBEMS Admit Card.
  • At least one valid original photo identity card (e.g., Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID, PAN Card, Driving License, Government-issued ID, or a bank passbook containing an authenticated photograph).
  • Passport-size color photographs identical to the one uploaded during registration (candidates are advised to keep at least 6 backup copies).
  • A hard copy of the submitted online application form along with the confirmation page.

Key Rules for Candidates

  • Restricted Items: Carrying mobile phones, calculators, pagers, electronic/smartwatches, or Bluetooth devices inside the test venue is strictly forbidden.
  • PwBD Provisions: Eligible PwBD candidates can opt for a scribe facility or demand compensatory time at the rate of 20 minutes per hour of the exam.
  • Travel Expenses: No Travel Allowance (TA) or Daily Allowance (DA) will be paid for attending the recruitment examination.
  • Consequence of Misinformation: Providing false or incorrect details will lead to immediate cancellation of candidature and potential legal proceedings.
