HDFC Bank offers a useful opportunity to students who are in a position to stop their studies halfway due to financial hardship. Under HDFC Parivartan Scholarship 2026-27, eligible students from 1st class to postgraduate level can get financial assistance ranging from ₹15,000 to ₹75,000.
This is a project under the bank’s CSR program ‘Parivarthan’. Eligibility, amount, documents, application procedure and last date information are simply given in this article.
HDFC Parivartan Scholarship 2026-27 – Important Details
The full name of this scheme is Parivartan Educational Crisis Scholarship Support (ECSS) Programme. The aim is that family financial constraints or personal hardships should not hinder any student’s studies.

How much money is available under HDFC Scholarship?
The amount of the scholarship is decided on the class or course the student is pursuing.

Example BA, BCom, BSc (Graduate) and MA, MCom (Post Graduate) for general courses. Examples of professional courses are BTech, MBBS, LLB, B.Arch, Nursing (Graduate) and MTech, MBA (Post Graduate).
Not everyone gets ₹75,000. That is the maximum amount fixed only for professional postgraduate students. Also, merit alone does not guarantee a scholarship; Available only to those who are successful in the selection process.
HDFC Scholarship 2026-27 – Eligibility Criteria
All categories of applicants should be Indian citizen, have secured at least 55% marks in previous examination and annual family income should not exceed ₹2.5 lakh. It is a scheme that looks at both marks and financial need. Even if one mark is less than 55%, the application will not be eligible.
Preference will be given to those at risk of dropping out due to hardship such as death of a family earner in the last three years, job loss, serious illness or natural disaster.
Eligibility for School, Diploma and ITI students
- Should have studied 1st to 12th class in a government, private or aided school, or Diploma, ITI, Polytechnic.
- Diploma students must have taken admission after 12th standard. This is a special condition.
Eligibility for graduate students
- Must be pursuing a general or professional degree from a recognized college or university in India.
Eligibility for postgraduate students
- Should be pursuing a general or professional postgraduate course in a recognized institution.
Documents required for application
- Passport size photograph
- Previous academic year mark sheet
- Government Issued Identity Card (Aadhaar for Graduation, Post Graduate, Voter ID or Driving License)
- Proof of admission for the current year (fee receipt, admit card, institute identity card or bonafide certificate)
- Copy of bank passbook or canceled check in the name of student or parent
- Income Proof: Certificate issued by Gram Panchayat or Ward Councillor, Certificate of Tahsildar etc., or Affidavit
- Document of hardship (if applicable only): Death certificate, letter of job loss, medical report etc
HDFC Scholarship Apply Online – How to Apply
- Buddy4Study Visit the Parivartan ECSS 2026-27 Application page on the website.
- Login if you already have an account. Otherwise register by email, mobile number or Google account.
- Select the department (Graduate, Undergraduate or Postgraduate) that suits your studies.
- Click “Start Application” .
- Fill the personal, educational and family income details.
- Upload the required documents.
- Agree to the terms and see “Preview”, check if all the details are correct.
- Click “Submit” to complete the application. Retain the application number.
Applications will be shortlisted based on merit, document verification and interview and the final list will be published, the official website said.
HDFC Scholarship Last Date 2026-27
Last date to apply 15 December 2026. The website may slow down during the last days, so it is a good idea to apply early. Check once on the official portal if there is a change in date.
