The Mysore City Corporation (MCC), also known as Mysuru Mahanagara Palike, has announced a special recruitment initiative to fill 116 vacancies for the position of Under Ground Drainage (UGD) Helper. Candidates currently employed within the Corporation on a daily-wage, contract, outsourced, or equal-pay-for-equal-work basis for a specified period are eligible to apply. Eligible candidates must submit their applications physically at the MCC Central Office on or before the closing date.

Vacancy Details

There are a total of 116 vacancies available for the post of UGD Helper. Eligibility Criteria

Selection Process

• Tie-Breaker Rule 1: If multiple applicants have completed the exact same length of service, the candidate who is older (based on Date of Birth) will be prioritized.
• Tie-Breaker Rule 2: If both the length of service and the date of birth are identical, the selection will be finalized through a lottery system.
• Approval: A provisional list of selected candidates will be released for public review. After addressing valid objections and representations, the final list will be authorized and published by the Selection & Direct Recruitment Authority-cum-Commissioner, MCC.
