The recruitment is conducted for selection into:

  • OCES-2026 (Orientation Course for Engineering Graduates and Science Postgraduates)
  • DGFS-2026 (DAE Graduate Fellowship Scheme)

Scientific Officer “C”

  • Pay Level: Level 10 (7th CPC)
  • Basic Pay: ₹56,100 per month

📝 Selection Process – BARC Scientific Officer 2026

Selection is conducted in two stages:

🔹 Stage 1: Screening

  • Admit card issued only after exam confirmation

2️⃣ GATE Score

  • Valid GATE 2024 / 2025 / 2026 score
  • Subject must match applied discipline

3️⃣ CEBS / NISER CGPA

  • CGPA ≥ 7.5 / 10
  • Only for CEBS & NISER graduates
  • This option can be used only once in a lifetime

🔹 Stage 2: Selection Interview

  • Shortlisted candidates are called for personal interview
  • Final merit prepared based on performance
