Eligibility
Educational Qualification
- Typist: Candidates must have passed Second PUC or an equivalent 3-Year Diploma. Additionally, they must have cleared both Kannada and English Senior Grade Typing Examinations.
- Typist Copyist: Candidates must possess a pass in PUC or Diploma, along with passing the Junior Grade Typing Examination.
- Order Executioner (Process Server): A pass in SSLC (Class 10) is required. Candidates holding a valid driving license will be given preference.
- Peon: A pass in SSLC (Class 10) is necessary. The ability to read and write in the Kannada language is mandatory.
Note on Residency: All listed positions are strictly reserved for the local cadre of the Kalyana Karnataka (371J) region. Only residents belonging to this regional group are eligible to apply.
Age Limit
Candidates must have completed a minimum age of 18 years. The category-wise upper age limits are detailed below:
- General Category: Maximum 40 years
- Categories 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B: Maximum 43 years
- SC / ST / Category-1: Maximum 45 years
- Age Relaxation: Widows, candidates with disabilities, and ex-servicemen are entitled to an exemption of up to 10 years as per government rules.

The registration fee must be submitted through Net Banking or UPI utilizing the SBI e-Pay gateway. The fee structure is categorized as follows:
- General Class Candidates: ₹200
- Categories 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B Candidates: ₹100

Selection Process
The selection methodology differs based on the designation applied for:
- Typist & Typist Copyist: Selection is based on a 15-minute typing test evaluation (100 marks total, requiring a minimum of 50 marks to qualify) followed by a personal interview worth 10 marks.
- Order Executioner (Process Server): Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview round in a ratio of 1:25, strictly based on the marks secured in their SSLC examination.
- Peon: Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview stage in a ratio of 1:10, depending on their performance and marks obtained in SSLC.
