SSC GD Revised Result 2026 – Important Dates

Candidates should note the following important examination and result dates.

The revised lists clarify category information in the earlier shortlisting documents. Candidates should refer to the official SSC notice for the applicable instructions.

Why Did SSC Release the GD Constable Revised Result 2026?

SSC released the revised detailed lists following representations from candidates seeking clarification about the categories shown in the original PET/PST shortlists.

Some candidates had applied under reserved categories, including SC, ST, OBC and EWS, but qualified the Computer-Based Examination under the standards applicable to Unreserved (UR) candidates.

Consequently, some candidates appeared under the UR category in the earlier shortlisting lists, even though their original application categories were different.

The revised lists provide clearer information about both the category under which a candidate applied and the category against which the candidate was considered for shortlisting.

The purpose of this revision is to clarify the category information. Candidates should not assume that the revised lists change their examination marks, selection status or other recruitment conditions.

What Has Changed in the SSC GD Revised Merit List 2026?

The revised detailed lists clarify category information that was not presented in the same way in the earlier result lists.

Candidates should read the revised list alongside the official notice rather than relying only on screenshots or summaries shared on social media.
